Testimonials

"Daria is a wonderful specialist, and I write this from my heart.

With her, it’s not scary to go deep; her calmness and stability create a sense of freedom, a feeling that everything is okay as it is, allowing you to look inside without fear of judgment.

I feel heard, and there is an opportunity to discover the unexpected together, knowing that there is someone beside you whose experience and professional skills enable them to maintain a genuine interest in what is happening and in the human aspect of the client.

The work progresses very naturally and brings a sense of great resourcefulness at the end of the session."

  • How often should the sessions take place?
Sessions typically take place weekly in the beginning, which allows us to address acute issues and establish a solid foundation. As we progress, sessions may become biweekly and eventually transition to once a month or even longer intervals. We will continue to adjust for the best frequency that works for you.
  • What is your pricing?
Please contact me directly for detailed pricing information (contact@dariasmolina.com). In addition to standard pricing, I offer limited discounted spots for those with limited financial resources. Please contact me to check for availability. Additionally, I am happy to schedule a FREE INTRODUCTORY meeting. This session will help determine if we are a good fit for working together and give you an opportunity to ask any questions you may have.
  • Do you work with women only?
I am committed to inclusivity and respect for all genders and orientations in my practice. While I work with clients of diverse backgrounds, my expertise may be especially valuable to women and working parents. My aim is to provide a supportive space where everyone feels understood and empowered.
  • What is your cancellation policy?
If you find yourself unable to keep an appointment, please let me know as soon as possible by email (contact@dariasmolina.com). Since I'm unable to fill your time slot with another client on short notice (less than 48 hours before the appointment), the full amount for the session will be billed if you do not cancel within this timeframe. Thank you for your understanding and honoring this policy.
  • Will the costs be covered by insurance?
Insurance coverage for sessions is typically not available. I work exclusively with self-pay clients. If you have any questions or concerns regarding payment options, please don't hesitate to reach out.
  • Are sessions with you therapy / psychotherapy?
I am not a psychotherapist, and I do not prescribe medications or treat mental disorders. I am trained in and base my work on Internal Family Systems (IFS), an evidence-based approach focused on personal development. The goal of sessions with me is in helping with personal development and finding inner balance.
  • What happens in the first free introductory session?
During the first session, our main focus is getting to know each other. We'll talk about why you've decided to seek therapy and what you're hoping to accomplish. It's also a chance for you to ask any questions you might have and see if we're a good fit for working together.
  • What is IFS?
IFS, or Internal Family Systems, is a therapeutic approach developed by Richard C. Schwartz, PhD, in the 1980s. Widely used and supported by clinical research, IFS combines systems thinking with elements from various types of family therapy, including structural, strategic, narrative, and Bowenian approaches. In IFS, we work to understand and integrate all aspect of one's personality, fostering harmony and self-awareness. It's akin to saying, "Part of me wants to take the new job offer, while another is afraid it will be too much," and finding a compromise that works best for you.
  • What video conferencing software do you use?
I use Zoom and prior to each session, I'll send you a link to the meeting so you can easily join when it's time.
  • How long does each session last?
Most sessions I offer are 90 minutes long, as this timeframe allows for deeper exploration and meaningful progress. However, we can also schedule 60-minute sessions if that better suits your needs.
  • How many sessions will I need?
The number of sessions needed varies based on individual circumstances and the issues being addressed. Some clients experience significant changes after just two or three sessions, while others may require more time. Ultimately, you'll have the opportunity to practice the methods independently, turning to me for deeper guidance and support as needed.
